Features
When you join:
Online Program content
The program is led by a trained smoking cessation facilitator who will be there for you throughout the 4 weeks. With interactive tools and resources at your fingertips, you’ll have access to engaging content that empowers you on your quit journey. Helpful articles and tips are posted each week for you to work through. Following through the steps outlined in this program will help ensure you have a solid plan in place to meet your tobacco cessation/reduction goals.
Check-Ins by Email
You'll receive emails with links to informative short videos hosted by the group facilitator on key topics such as managing cravings/triggers, making a plan, getting back on track if you have a slip, stress management tools, (and others!). The program reminders can prompt you to stay focused on your goals, remind you of the reasons you wanted to quit, and provide extra motivational to inspire you to keep pushing forward.
group support
Participants will benefit from peer support through a online message forum, helping to connect with others who share the same goal of becoming smoke-free. This creates a motivating environment where you can share experiences, challenges, and triumphs along the way. Participants will be part of a community who support you in staying committed to your goal. This accountability helps keep you on track and encourages you to share your progress, making you less likely to relapse.
When you sign up, we’ll send you all of the details for logging on and for accessing the resources.
A reminder that this service is available only for residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. If you are from outside of this province we encourage you to connect with the quitline that serves your area.
