Our team of counsellors are truly interested in helping you move forward with your quit plan. No matter where you currently are in the process of quitting smoking, we are there to support you — we can help motivate you to take action through encouraging you to explore your personal reasons for quitting, provide information on proven quit methods and practical tips that have worked for other clients, and assistance with staying smoke free. There’s no pressure to quit smoking right away, we simply provide the information and tools that we hope you’ll find helpful when you are ready.
The Smokers’ Helpline is a program of the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association, with funding from the provincial Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development and Health Canada. Many community agencies and health associations endorse and support the work of the Helpline.
