“You Can Stop by Starting with Us” Program offered when interest is sufficient. Facilitators trained throughout the region.
C.A.R.E Program ( Open to All ) New nurses are oriented to the CARE program. Program is largely promoted.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program ( Open to All )
Community and in-patient education program. Patients are provided with information and brief counseling to assist them is staying smoke-free.Patients are encouraged to call the SHL.

Youth Awareness Campaigns -
“Tobacco & Youth: Media Awareness and Peer Pressure” (Includes PowerPoint presentation). Project #1: “Media Awareness.” Project #2: “No to Tobacco: Positive Graffiti.”

Cessation literature available.
Referrals ( Open to All )
Referrals are accepted for Adult Cessation Group program and for tobacco education.
Referrals are provided to the SHL and ACT when appropriate.
Toxic Tunnel ( Open to All ) Giant tent shaped as a cigarette. It is used for large events where people walk through, and their senses are awakened by the sights & smells of tobacco use. Resources are available.
Youth Group Program ( Open to Youth ) “Kick the Nic” program offered in St. Anthony and Roddickton. Facilitators trained throughout the region.
