Services:
"Kick the Nic" Program ( Open to Youth )

“Kick the Nic” program offered in St. Anthony and Roddickton. Facilitators trained throughout the region.



Cardiac Rehabilitation Program ( Open to All )

Community and in-patient education program. Patients are provided with information and brief counseling to assist them is staying smoke-free.  Patients are encouraged to call the SHL.



Community Education ( Open to Youth )

Youth Awareness Campaigns -

“Tobacco & Youth: Media Awareness and Peer Pressure” (Includes PowerPoint presentation). Project #1: “Media Awareness.” Project #2: “No to Tobacco: Positive Graffiti.”



Educational Resources ( Open to All )
Cessation literature available.
 

Toxic Tunnel - a giant tent shaped as a cigarette. It is used for large events where people walk through, and their senses are awakened by the sights & smells of tobacco use. Resources are available.

“You Can Stop by Starting with Us” Program offered in partnership with public health.

Referrals are provided to SHL and ACT when appropriate.
